How do I get a library card?

Answer

Getting a library card is fast and easy! There are two ways to do it:

1. Register online

Fill out this form and we will email you your library card number, which you can use to access a wide variety of resources through Jackson District Library. Please note that it may take us 24-48 hours to process your registration, depending on when it is received. We will then send you your library card via US Mail.

This online registration will be valid for one year. To receive the full three year registration, come in during open hours and present a state-issued photo ID or Residence Hall ID and we will extend your registration for three years.

2. Register in person

Come in any time the library is open and fill out a short form to register for your free library card! All you need is your state-issued photo ID or residence hall ID. You will receive the physical card right away and have access to all the resources that JC and JDL provide! The entire process takes less than five minutes.
